There are so many wonderful things to do while
visiting Rome, we can name only a few on this
page – but we’ll try to give you
the best! There are of course the old and trusted
favourites for visitors, such as the Colosseum,
the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, St Peter’s
Basilica and the Trevi Fountain, to
name but a few – all within half an hour’s
travelling by public transport from this central
Rome budget accommodation! All are well worth
a visit - soak up the fantastic atmosphere at
all of the above locations and more, while immersing
yourself in the history and culture of the Eternal
City.
If you’d like to take a break from the
busy streets without leaving the city, take
a leisurely walk through the Gardens of the
Villa Borghese. These public
gardens are the closest you will find to the
city centre and make a wonderful place to stop
and relax during your sightseeing.
If you are looking for something to tempt your
taste buds, we recommend a visit to one of Rome’s
many chocolate shops where you can indulge in
many treats from hot chocolate to handmade sweets.
For warmer days, there are many places where
you can buy a “gelato” or Italian
ice cream – just the thing to cool you
down!
Look no further than the Hotel Lodi when looking
for budget rooms in the Eternal City –
our cheap accommodation is simple and affordable,
you won’t find many other budget rooms
as nice as ours!
